Get ready to celebrate our furry, feathered, and finned friends in Pets!, a playful and imaginative summer art camp for young makers who love animals.
In this camp, students will create artwork inspired by famous artists, iconic artworks, and unique styles—all centered around pets and animals. Campers will explore bold color, expressive lines, and imaginative backgrounds while learning how artists throughout history have captured the personality and charm of their favorite companions.
Young artists will take inspiration from Louis Wain and his vibrant Victorian-era cats, experimenting with bright patterns, playful expressions, and creative compositions. Campers will also create whimsical collage dogs, paint beautiful horses, and explore even more pet-inspired projects using a variety of materials and techniques including drawing, painting, and mixed media.
Through guided projects and plenty of room for personal creativity, makers will develop their artistic skills while celebrating the pets they love (real or imaginary!). This camp is perfect for animal lovers who enjoy storytelling, color, and bringing character to life through art.
